What: Holiday Mocktail Mixer, highlights include:
- Awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving during holiday season.
- Law enforcement plans announced.
- Community leaders to serve alcohol-free mocktails as an alternative to alcoholic beverages.
- Contest for best mocktails submitted by general public. Winners will receive gift certificates to various stores in Westland Mall. Entry deadline is Dec. 5th.
- Responsible home and workplace party hosting encouraged.
When: Friday, Dec. 8th, 2006, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Westland Mall´s east court, located at 35000 West Warren Road
Why: The holiday workplace and home party season is in full swing, signaling the need to increase awareness about responsible party hosting, alternatives to alcoholic beverages and designating a driver.
