How about stepping back in time when the “it” quality was discovered in children the “old school” way? No make-up! Simply discovering natural beauty and prize personalities based on our pure concept of ascertaining star quality.
Join New Start Discovery in Westland, MI for our “All Natural & Inspirational” Regional Baby Contest so you too can see why we have established a Heritage of Trust with our world renowned Hollywood producer and Chicago fashion photographer who work exclusively with New Star Discovery contestants. Competitions will be held separately for boys and girls by age division: 0-7 months, 8-14 months, 15-23 months, 24-35 months, 3-4 years old, and 5-6 years old. The winner of each age division will win their entry fee paid to the state competition, a beautiful trophy, crown or medallion, and test photo shoot with a Chicago fashion photographer! The overall high point winner will take home a
2 ½ foot trophy or $50.00 savings bond. We will have reigning State and National Royalty attending to present awards. Each contestant will take home a trophy. A $100 Shopping Spree for Westland Shopping Center will be given to one winner who qualifies by entering all contest categories. All children are “winners” as they embrace a dream achieving the first steps towards personal excellence.
The entry fee for the main “All Natural & Inspirational” competition is $45. In addition to the main competition, we offer four photogenic and four feature categories at $5 per category. There is no pre-registration for our regional events. We accept cash, money order, and business checks, MasterCard or Visa. No personal checks or debit cards.
The “All Natural & Inspirational Most Beautiful Baby Contest” is a Regional contest for children in the surrounding area. Following the Regional Contest is our State Competitions beginning in April. State competitions are awarded up to a combined total of $50,000 in “Over the Top” prizes.
Our Grand Finale National Competition is held in August, where again, numerous “Over the Top” prizes are awarded up to a combined total of $100,000, including a $25,000 Savings Bond! Contestants can choose the cash option for current worth of awarded Savings Bonds.
Merging thoughts of the New Star Discovery Team Members, we have worked together to enhance all aspects of the company. This has brought us to begin the process of “Castles of Faith”, customized castles delivered to children who are not able to join us at our events due to the monumental challenges of childhood illness. This will be done in memory of a New Star Discovery National Award Winner, Cassie Matt ((1998 - 2003), who inspires today and everyday.
